Fall 2014

This secretary desk was designed to hang on a wall in order to minimize floor space. In an effort to steer away from the absurdly large desks that are being produced today, this piece is rather small. The foldout area is large enough to comfortably fit a laptop, mouse and coffee cup.

In general, mass-produced American contemporary furniture is too large; all too often, a couch that seats eight people is placed within a two-person home. Pieces like this veer away from this conception of “bigger is better” in an effort to focus on the essentials.
